Melbourne Shakespeare Company was established in 2016 to commemorate the 400 year anniversary of Shakespeare's death. Before this, Melbourne has never had it's own Shakespeare company.

We create high energy, family friendly productions and perform them in exciting locations throughout Melbourne. As well as this, Melbourne Shakespeare Company holds open auditions, giving performers of all abilities and experience the chance to apply and runs educational workshops for emerging creatives to learn from Melbourne's best Shakespearean directors.

Since beginning in 2016 Melbourne Shakespeare Company has produced eight sold out productions in different locations throughout Melbourne, including classics such as A Midsummer Nights Dream, Twelfth Night and Romeo and Juliet.
